About OAG

Oversee Advising Group (OAG) is a consulting firm specialized in action research, baseline and endline studies, surveys and evaluations of projects, programs and policies commissioned by a wide range of institutions. As part of the Vitamin A supplementation program implemented by the Ministry of Health with the support of Helen Keller Intl, a post-campaign coverage survey is planned.

Contract type: Professional Service Contract
Duration: 19 days (15 days of data collection and four (04) days of travel time)

Task description

This is a post-campaign coverage survey for Vitamin A supplementation and deworming of children aged 6-59 months, planned for January 2025 in the ten Regions of Cameroon. After 1 day of training on the survey process and 3 days of enumerator training, each supervisor will be deployed to their work area. Under the technical supervision of the project manager, the Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Handling courtesy visits in each cluster (ZD);
• Supervising the enumeration of clusters;
• Carrying out quality control of the enumeration, i.e. 10% (about 25 households);
• Comparing enumeration audio data with enumerators' data;
• Selecting and assigning households to be visited by enumerators;
• Checking enumerators' household questionnaires.

Profile

• At least a Bachelor's degree +3 in sociology, anthropology, health, nutrition, public health or similar fields;
• At least 1 year of experience implementing household surveys, at least as a Team Leader;
• Work experience within Regional Health Delegations/Districts/Health Areas;
• Experience working with the SurveyCTO tool.

• Good moral standing;
• Good communication and adaptability skills;
• Sense of confidentiality;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Knowledge of the local context and local language will be an asset;
• Ability to use computer tools and Android phones for data collection is an asset;
• Full availability throughout the mission period.
